M&J Engineering interns recently gained firsthand insight into a stormwater and drainage mitigation project on Long Island’s North Shore through a presentation led by a senior engineer from the firm. The session explored how engineering solutions can address flooding, erosion, and environmental concerns while balancing technical, environmental, and regulatory requirements. The presentation provided interns with valuable exposure to real-world infrastructure challenges and highlighted the role engineers play in protecting communities and natural resources.
