Project Overview

Role: Prime Consultant

M&J Engineering (M&J) provided key public outreach services for the City of Norwalk’s Hospital Hill Village improvements. The primary objective was to engage business owners and residents in the design process to ensure the project met the community’s needs and priorities. M&J developed a range of outreach materials, including brochures and flyers, to inform the public about the goals, timeline, and potential impact of the improvements. These materials were used in preparation for a public information meeting, where local stakeholders could learn more about the project and provide feedback.

In addition to the general outreach materials, M&J prepared and distributed printed concept plans for business owners and residents to review. These concept plans offered a visual representation of the proposed changes, allowing attendees to better understand the scope of the project. This was a key step in encouraging constructive comments and suggestions, which M&J collected during the meeting and through other outreach channels. The feedback gathered from these stakeholders was instrumental in refining the design.
